Acne Scar Home Remedies

"Home Remedies for Acne Scars: Get Rid of ‘Em, Naturally!"

...You’ve tried everything on the market to get rid of your acne and acne scars. It  seems like nothing works and you’ve spent countless fruitless hours and hundreds of  wasted dollars to end up with no visible improvement in your skin.

You just seem to find the best acne scar relief.

If you’re fed up,  broke and ready to throw in the astringent, try one of the following acne scar home remedies.

Please note: be sure that you follow the directions on the following home remedies  for acne scars, and at the first sign of rash or irritation, discontinue what you’re  using and check with a dermatologist.

These treatments are recommended by individuals, and not doctors, and represent non-professional opinions only.

Witch Hazel

Witch hazel is a commonly sold product that can be found in grocery stores or  pharmacy and has been used for generations for everything from an astringent to a  cure for bruises. To treat acne, soak a cotton ball or a cotton pad in witch hazel,  and rub it on your face to remove dirt, grease and makeup.

It’s easy enough on most  skin types that it can be used every night and every morning. You could see  improvement in as little as a month.

Baby Wipes

Try using two baby wipes to clean your skin before you go to bed. Not only will you  smell like a baby’s (clean) butt, but the alcohol in the wipes will remove much of  your excess dirt, oil, and bacteria. Unscented wipes are best as they contain fewer  ingredients that can irritate your skin.

Nutmeg Face Wash

Pour three tablespoons of milk into a bowl. While leaning over a sink or basin so  that you don’t mess up your bathroom, apply the milk to your acne-affected areas.  Take a little bit of ground nutmeg in the palm of your hand and apply it to the  milk-covered areas.

Warning: the nutmeg will stick to the milk and you might feel  like a piece of cereal. Leave the nutmeg on your face for about an hour, or until  completely dry. After an hour, lightly brush the nutmeg off of your face – don’t  scrub it off, or you will abrade your skin. Give this treatment around two weeks to  show results.

Clean House

Acne is thought by some to be caused by toxins building up on the inside of your  body, so you might try a detox program to improve your skin – and your overall  health in the process. Try the following steps:

Drink Your Water

We all know that eight eight-ounce glasses are the recommended  dosage, but did you know that a little lemon juice and a pinch (just a pinch!) of  cayenne have been known to increase water’s benefits?

Cut Down or Out on Processed Foods. Go natural – eat more veggies and less cheeze  doodles! Your body will thank you.

Take Your Vitamins. This one needs no explanation. You can’t expect your body to  perform for you if you’re not giving it what it needs.

Try Some Supplements. The following herbal supplements have been proven to detox the  body, and as a result, clear the skin: Milk Thistle, Grape Seed Extract, Evening  Primrose Oil, or any that says "detoxify" on the label.

For the ultimate in acne-fighting power it's the ProActi Solution System.
