" Sunscreen.  Don't underestimate the power of the sun.  The more dried out and leathery your skin is from the sun or tanning, the more likely it is that bacteria will be able to get in and cause blemishes.

" Hydrate.   Drink your required amounts of water.  Again, the more hydrated your skin is, the fewer dry cracks there will be for dirt and bacterial to enter and be able to take hold.
